How to get here

By airplane

The closest airport is the EuroAirport. You can either call a taxi (~40 CHF) or take the bus-service number 50 to Kannenfeldplatz (~7 min) and walk 400 m

By train

When travelling with the Deutsche Bahn, it is convenient to leave at Basel Badischer Bahnhof. From there, take the bus-service 30 to Frauenspital and walk to the department of physics.

When coming from Basel SBB or SNCF, take either the bus-service 50 to Kannenfeldplatz, the service 30 to Frauenspital or the tram 11 direction St Louis and leave at St. Johanns-Tor.

By car

Please note that on road parkings are rare. You will have to buy a “Autobahn-Vignette” (40 CHF) if you want to drive on motorways in Switzerland. The nearest multi-storey car park is the Parkhaus City.

How to find office 506

Enter at Klingelbergstrasse 80 and climb 3 stories. If you take the stairs, turn slightly left. If you take the elevator (knob for 3rd floor), walk straight.
